SEO and the world around is constantly changing and developing. To stay on top, or even ahead, one would need to constantly be aware of trends, developments, risks and dangers. With SEO there is always new ways and new things to do to push the envelope even further but the one constant has always been organic SEO.

As algorithms and the way that search engines operate change daily it is important to be aware of these changes as they happen, but ultimately to have a website that is set up in such a way that the minimal amount of work is needed to keep it up to date. The art of doing this is often referred to as organic SEO. It basically means that the management of a website would work much like a garden works. You need to treat it as you would treat anything that is a life form. It needs constant care and tending.

Organic SEO is just like tending a plant

In organic SEO it would mean that there are regular updates of the content, new pictures, new blogs, new page titles and new links. Imagine leaving your garden of Azalia’s without any water for a month. It would probably die. A website sees new content as water, it is the thing that makes it grow. Taking old leaves, stems and flowers and mixing it with the ground would be like the archiving of older information and content, but not removing it as it can still serve a purpose in SEO. Just like the older parts of the plant becomes compost that feeds it and keeps it fit and healthy.

The nutrition of Keywords

The plants will need some type of plant food or nutrition that gets added to the water or soil. This will help it become strong and survive attacks from insects and other plants that they compete with for space. In organic SEO that would be like feeding your webiste with keywords. There is a constant fight for top rankings and the correct use of these will allow a website to compete.

But just like it is important to give the plants the correct type of food, it is vital that the correct keywords are used. Using a book or reading informative articles to research what is best for the plants is much like using keyword analysis programs. These programs will show the supply and demand of the keywords entered. It is then easier to decide which keywords will be effective for a specific type of result that one might want to achieve.

The basics of organic SEO is in other words the constant maintaining and tending of a website, much like one would look after a plant or garden. To get the best results it is something that needs to be done regularly and with some forethought and planning. Failing to do so, will result in initial good rankings and results but it will falter in time. Organic SEO will give fantastic results and the farmers will bear the fruits of their work on a long term base.
