The two sides to SEO

There are two ways of applying SEO. You could either go white hat SEO or use black hat tricks to optimise your site. Search engine optimisation is the best tool to use to pull in visitors to your site. It has many reviews and a lot of website owners have received great results using this tool. The exposure that a site gets is both overwhelming and necessary for all websites.

White hat SEO refers to good, wholesome SEO while black hat SEO often reflects an illegitimate and bad form of SEO. In the world of search engine optimization, there have been many discussions on the use of black hat tricks. It is unacceptable by many while others who make use of it see it as a fast and efficient form of SEO.

While there will always be debate on the topic, black hat techniques remain a huge problem, especially to those who struggle by using white hat techniques. It steals their exposure and it makes it harder for them to strive. Although black hat techniques are unfair, there is nothing that other website owners can do to stop it. However many search engines scout these websites who make use of these bad hat tricks and usually ban and restrict such websites form being listed on their results pages.

As a result of this black hat tricks are more risky to apply and often do more harm than good.

What exactly are white hat tricks?

So by now we know that white hat SEO is good SEO. But what does this mean?

White hat techniques are the proper way of applying search engine optimisation. When you employ such a SEO campaign, you follow the rules and procedure and your entire campaign has ethical SEO techniques. No deceit has been used to mislead guests onto your site. Everything is legit and you do not run the risk of being restricted or penalised by search engines.

All link building is done legitimately with no funny business. Link building is vital in that it allows internet users to reach your site through another. By keeping your link building ethical, you do not place deceitful ads in order to draw people to your site.

When you make use of white hat search engine optimization, you also keep your keywords relevant and befitting and do not flood your site. There is no dodgy content development and your site is created in a way that will not deceive your visitors.

Rather go without than use black hat tricks

Black hat techniques on the other hand are the opposite of white hat techniques. With black hat tricks, people make use of unethical and wrong methods to get high ranking and fool people into visiting their sites. Many people are using black hat techniques because they show faster results and their websites are able to reach more people. Black hat tricks include things like hidden text, making use of irrelevant keywords and keyword flooding.
