Entireweb launched its search engine in 2000 and since then has steadily been gaining in popularity. Millions of internet users regularly visit the Entireweb website when they have search needs as it provides a general purpose search engine service that many find useful. There are around one million searches carried out using the Entireweb search engine each month and these searches are placed by users from countries all over the world. While Entireweb is not currently one of the major search engines operating in the search market, it is a useful and productive search engine that is attracting the attention and loyalty of many users and this is highly promising for the company.

Entireweb are extremely proud of the search engine service they are able to provide users with and suggests that the search engine not only offers searchers relevant and useful website listings but also demonstrates the impressive search technology being used by the company. Highly developed search technology enables this search engine to provide searchers with such high quality results.

Entireweb hopes to take this further with the launching of a new and even better search engine in 2010. The aim of this search engine is to provide the best possible search engine service and those at Entireweb believe that this is completely feasible because of the technology and high standards the company has.

Entireweb is hoping to offer its users a superior service to that which is offered by the current popular search engines and is appealing to internet users to assist them with the creation and development of this new search engine. Entireweb has created a blog specifically on the topic of this new search engine and will regularly update this blog with any appropriate information concerning developments within the search engine, ideas and information about the new features of the search engine too. Blog readers will then be able to contribute their thoughts and opinions to this blog and may even affect elements of the finished search engine. Entireweb hopes that this will be an excellent way of getting potential search engine users to get involved.

Entireweb is aiming to create a hugely popular and successful search engine and believes that the input of current users of the search engine it provides and internet users that currently use other search engines, is vital if they are going to create a search engine that really meets the needs and wants of the majority of internet users.  Businesses engaged in SEO campaigns should attempt to be aware of unfolding events like the proposed Entireweb search engine.

I think the new version is a big step forward for entireweb, but o’m note sure how well it will go considering the formidable competition. It does however look to have some unique features and a lot more potential than other recent so-called challengers such as cuil which is a dud really. One nice thing is it’s thumbnails with every site. Search results seem pretty good – EXCEPT if you are looking for region/country specific stuff which it’s a bit of a fail at. And speed isn’t that good. But it seems a lot better than it used to be at least!
