Well, when it comes to optimization there are the paid for techniques and then there are those techniques that happen naturally. Now, paid for optimization includes online marketing strategies such as pay per click advertising. In strategies such as pay per click advertising you are paying to earn a higher page rank and more web traffic to your website. Both of these are good for your SEO, but they are not natural and they are therefore not organic.

Organic optimization is that which happens naturally due to excellent on-site optimization and great content. The better your content, the more visitors you will attract. As your visitor numbers increase and you gain cyber popularity, other websites will sit up and take note of this. They will see your website as a valuable ally in order to offer their own visitors more.

They will then want to link to you from their websites. This is a very important mutually beneficial relationship in your organic SEO process. The more links you gain naturally, the better for your websites because the search engines like organic links and all organic optimization. Organic optimization is like a snowball rolling down an unending slope. It will continue to gain momentum and get bigger and more powerful.

The content side

Organic search engine optimization requires you to have superb content; there is simply no way around it. Now, good content is made up of several factors; keywords, information, vocabulary, tone and much more. Well written content is a must. It needs to be informative and offer your visitors what they came to your website in search of.

It must be written in a style and tone to match that of your visitors. Your vocabulary use should also cater to them. The last thing you want to do is to alienate your visitors and target audience by using language that they would not naturally use.

A huge part of your content is the keywords that you use and how you choose to use them. It is imperative that you use your keywords wisely. Choosing the right keywords and stuffing them into your content until it no longer makes sense is the fastest way to drop your SERP rank like a stone. Use the keywords in several strategic places like Meta tags, content, anchor text, headings, domain names and more.
