If you plan to feature content from staff and other writers, make sure they stick to their own subject of expertise. Pressure to create content can lead to embarrassment down the track.

7. Have a post plan. Too many businesses dive into blogging before actually considering the fact that they have to draw up regular content. Blogs may have started out as chatty online diaries, where writers could express their thoughts freely to the world, but the world of business blogging is very different. Business blogs need to be informative and provide solid value to the reader to succeed.
