The changes made during search engine optimisation can be a little startling to some businesses, so it pays to be prepared when it happens. The answer will also let you gauge the level the SEO company intends to optimise for. It is worth mentioning, though, that no company will completely give their game away with answering this question.

Another question to ask is ‘what type of techniques do you use?’ The answer to watch for here is ‘Google-approved.’ Some SEO companies are happy to use less-than-reputable techniques, which can ultimately harm your site. It pays to research the signs of a bad SEO company when you want to avoid black-hat operators.
