Alternate your anchor text

The text used to anchor a link, any link, weighs in heavily in the value of that link. For example, if you manage to get 20 decent-quality links but all of them are anchored with ‘www.dongles.com’, those links will have limited value. Most sites try to get their links anchored with a phrase including their keywords, such as ‘best quality dongles’. The trouble is, if every one of those 20 links is anchored with this one keyword, they look like a machine has put them there.
It’s a good idea to alternate your anchor text wherever you can. Instead of ‘best quality dongles’ try for ‘dongles of the best quality’ or other reworks of the keyword. Once you run out of these options, try linking with one of your related keywords. Mix it up.
